<title>Toxin Alert! High Fructose Corn Syrup</title>
    <link>http://www.surviving-diabetes.com/diabetes-blog.html#Toxin-Alert!-High-Fructose-Corn-Syrup</link>
    <description>By Dr. Rick Boatright

It prevents slimming, increases hunger, causes inflammation, increases toxins from metabolic wastes in your body, raises your blood pressure, causes uric acid to spike (the gout-causing metabolite), ages the liver, scrambles your thinking, causes saggy skin and desensitizes the pancreas. And thats not all!

What is this horrible, incredibly toxic substance we find so commonly in our foods? High fructose corn syrup. Thats right! High fructose corn syrup.

Even though corn may be a good food for a major part of the population, high fructose corn syrup is not. Please realize that if we can replace gasoline with corn, there must be some parts of it that can be dangerous when processed in a certain way. High fructose corn syrup fits that bill.

A headline article in the health magazine, First, states, Scientists now confirm that even eating small amounts of high fructose corn syrupan additive found in at least 70 of prepackaged foodscan impair the bodys appetite-suppressing hormones, making weight loss nearly impossible.

So the appetite suppressing hormones are disabled and fat storage is increased.

Sometimes we find out something a bit negative about a food and we say, Gosh, theres something wrong with everything. Im just going to eat what I want! This should NOT be one of those cases. This one is serious. This makes the trans fats thing look like a minor inconvenience. Please watch your labels and protect your health from this powerful toxin! Your life depends on it!</description>
